Open Network Architecture
Visioneer VAST Network© is built on an extended implementation of TWAIN Direct©, an open, driverless technology standard. Visioneer Native Scanners contain this code within the scanner, so users can share scanning across office networks, even scan from the Internet outside office networks from PCs, laptops and mobile devices. Administrators have a Web Manager tool for configuration and secure signing, private key and password encryption to provide a second layer of security across networks.
