The Visioneer Patriot D40 is a high-speed, duplex color document scanner that offers convenience and connectivity. With an amazingly small footprint, the scanner fits comfortably on any desk making it the perfect solution for small and large enterprises that desire the capability to quickly capture and archive documents. Corporations within the banking, education, energy, financial, government, healthcare and manufacturing industries can greatly benefit from the 10,000-page daily duty cycle and reliable paper-handling for everything from business cards and checks to legal-sized documents and long medical records or field charts.
The Patriot D40 color scanner scans up to 40 pages per minute (ppm) / 80 images per minute (ipm) @ 300 dpi, and 70 ppm / 140 ipm @ 200 dpi. Equipped with an 80-page automatic document feeder (ADF) and the ability to automatically scan documents into multiple formats, including searchable PDFs, through a high-speed USB 2.0 connection. Designed specifically for desktop use, the Patriot D40 incorporates Visioneer OneTouch technology for eliminating multiple steps in sending scanned documents to predetermined applications or devices.
